The European and American Roulette Game
Roulette is one of the most popular casino games today. According to many historians, roulette was developed in the Seventeenth century by a French math wizzard. The actual wheel is the part of the device which is moveable and spins. The table is also separated into sections: red and black with conversely numbered areas from one to thirty six. The spaces also have one zero and in the American version of the game, a "00" space. As you begin gambling on the roulette wheel, you will be offered the option to either place an inside or an outside bet. An inside bet is a wager on a number or numbers ranging from one to thirty six or "0" or 00. An outside bet is often a wager on sections of one third of the feasible numbers to come up, excluding zero and 00. Because the probability percentage is much higher with an outside bet, the pay outs are also higher.
Typically, succeeding an outside wager or bet results in a payout of 2-to-1. For instance, if you were to wager $1 on an outside bet and win, you would win 2 dollars from the spin of the Roulette wheel.
