The point you become gluttonous, and pray to get "lucky", is the day you lose all of your money. Sounds a bit weird, but it seems to be genuine. The only time I ever amass money is when I do not worry about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other evening with twenty dollars. I couldn’t care any less about blowing it, who cares about $20? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 profit in 1 hour!

A different occassion I was at the casino with my friend Bob. I went in with $100 that I could not bear to squander. I got insatiable, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and losing it in thirty mins! The lesson is do not wager anymore than you are able to lose. If you don’t care about not winning, you have a greater chance of profiting big!

What other ways can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette besides creating a budget? do not wager on single numbers! Yes, they come up occasionally, but they don’t come up enough to ensure a steady profit. Just wager on even wagers e.g. black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first 12, second dozen, 3rd dozen, etc Bet on odds that pay out fairly high.

With the basics reviewed, how else might we further boost our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By making probability into our ally, instead of our enemy. "You cannot be a winner at Roulette", my friend Mike would say to me. "It is completely arbitrary because any number could come up". Absolutely, my buddy Bob certainly has a point, but at the same time, he is overlooking an important aspect of the picture. I totally agree, red or black could be landed on thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
